Transportation Clerk
- Pay $19 - $21 / hour
The Transportation Clerk provides support to the terminal office. The hours are 1:30pm-10:00pm, Monday thru Friday.
Duties include:
- Data entry to generate freight manifests
- Scanning BOLS and Delivery Receipts for pre-invoice process
- Check-in/out P&D and Linehaul Drivers
- Ensure shipping documents have correct information; PO numbers, piece counts
- Answering phone
- Identify overages, shortages and damaged freight
- Issue notices of undelivered freight
- Back up support to the PM dispatcher
Experience/Skills:
- Minimum one year customer service, LTL experience or one year os & d experience preferred
- Professional phone etiquette
- Ability to approach workload in a proactive fashion
- Able to handle fast paced environment with attention to detail
- A strong work ethic and team mentality
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Able to type 45wpm
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year plus of Customer Service or experience
