Forklift Operator - Oshkosh, WI

The responsibilties of a forklift operator are:
- Safe Forklift Operation: Operate sit down safely and efficiently to move, stack, and load/unload materials, ensuring the safety of yourself and others at all times.
- Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of materials and products handled, making note of quantities, locations, and any damages or discrepancies.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets with precision, ensuring that goods are properly secured to prevent damage during transportation.
- Dock Management: Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the dock area, including removing debris and obstructions, and ensuring clear pathways for equipment and personnel.
- Quality Control: Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for any visible damage, report discrepancies, and work with the team to resolve issues.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations and participate in safety training.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts, report any defects or issues, and help with recharging batteries or changing propane tanks.

Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must have a high school diploma
- You must have at least 1 year of experience operating a forklift
- Cross dock/shipping/receiving experience is preferred
